Managing Director of Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Ltd Moshiur Rahman confirmed this matter that Internet users in Bangladesh are experiencing slow speed or outages due to a technical glitch in the second submarine cable.

He said that efforts are underway to carry out the necessary repairs.

There are problems with the power supply to the second submarine cable in Patuakhali. Repair works are ongoing and hopefully, it’ll be fixed by the day’s end.
