Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said the Education Ministry and Primary and Mass Education Ministry will take prompt decision regarding Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Primary Education Completion (PEC) examinations.
He said this while talking to reporters after the regular weekly cabinet meeting at the secretariat on Monday (August 24).
The meeting was virtually held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
The cabinet secretary said, “The education ministry is in talks over holding HSC and other examinations. A decision in this regard will be taken quickly.”
“The secretary to the primary and mass education ministry also talked to reporters over the issue yesterday. They are not thinking of opening schools and colleges at this moment but seriously considering how to take exams,” Anwarul said.
